The big day had finally arrived! Frozen was out for home viewing! Betsy and I had talked about the big day…counting down the days…so of course, early that morning Tatu and I ran out and grabbed up a copy, lest all of the millions lining the shelves should sell out! (In case you are wondering, yes, we both went…it’s just what we do. We also grabbed breakfast.)
I had big plans…she already had the Frozen dress, makeup and hair. And let me tell you, it had to be Elsa’s dress. It seems like a big mistake on Disney’s part that nobody wants to be the sister. So when purchasing Elsa’s dress, which are few and far between, you see lots of the sister’s dress, not so much the other. Which I don’t get…she is so cute.
She even had a Frozen birthday party!
So, I made big plans to pick her up from school, the newly released movie in hand, and surprise her for a little Frozen viewing party after school. She was thrilled! We got to my house, made popcorn, even homemade lemonade, and settled in for what was to be my first time to see this movie that I had heard so much about! After about ten minutes she said, “Honey, I really wanted to jump on the trampoline with the boys.” Well, okay.
So we loaded up and I took her home to jump on the trampoline with the “boys”…one boy in particular being a cute little blonde neighbor that she suspected would be there. And he was.
Sometimes you just have to let go of those big plans…anyway, a new hose to my central vac came in that day and I really just wanted to vacuum.
